Jörg is the owner and managing director of Friday Ventures. Jörg advises SAP Ventures on investments, particularly in Europe and Israel. Jörg has been active in research, strategy consulting, venture capital and general management for over 15 years. Based in Germany, Jörg provides a tight linkage to SAP's headquarter in Walldorf. Prior to founding Friday Ventures and advising SAP Ventures, Jörg was a member of SAP Ventures in Germany. Before this, Jörg led Business Consulting for BEA Systems for Central and Eastern Europe and provides significant experience in developing and executing solution selling strategies for SW products and is well connected in several industries. Before joining BEA, he spent several years as investment executive with 3i's global SW group, focused on investments in German speaking Europe and serving on numerous boards as observer. Jörg also spent several years in strategy consulting with Booz-Allen & Hamilton, working with clients in several industries across Europe. Jörg has lived in Germany, Austria, UK, and the United States. He holds a Master in Computer Science and received a Ph.D. in distributed systems, both from the University of Karlsruhe, and is a member of the ACM and GI. Jörg currently serves as a board observer for Aepona Ltd., Alfresco Inc., iTAC AG, and Onventis GmbH, and as a member of the investors' committee of Munich Venture Partners.

Matthias Storch gründete 2003 sein ersten Unternehmen, die marktform GmbH - Betreiberin des bundesweit meistbesuchten Informations- und Nachrichtenportals speziell für Gründer und Unternehmer namens foerderland.de (Verkauf im Juni 2011 an WEKA Media). 2007 folgt die apomio GmbH mit dem Produkt- und Preisvergleich für Medikamente apomio.de. Ende 2009 beteiligt sich Matthias Storch an dem Berliner Startup codingpeople GmbH - ein B2B Markup Service, welcher Designs in W3C valides XHTML/CSS umwandelt. Als weiteres Business-Angel Investment folgt Ende 2010 die conceptboard GmbH mit Sitz in Stuttgart. conceptboard.com ist eine SaaS-Lösung für effektives Realtime Teamwork an Ideen und Dokumenten.
